Portal Timbó
The Timbó Portal provides online access to bibliography and scientific-technological literature from all over the world, both historical and current. It brings access to more than 19,000 specialized journals and 34,000 e-books from various disciplines.
For the specific themes of the Institute, the main database providers are:

ScienceDirect: among others it has the magazines edited by Elsevier - about 1,650 - and a great collection of electronic books.

SPRINGER: approximately 1,600 Springer Publisher magazines, 1.5 million electronic articles and eBook collection.

EBSCOhost: more than 7,100 full texts, 11,700 different publications, including monographs, reports and conference proceedings; Access to the ERIC (Education Resource Information Center), which contains more than 317,000 full-text documents dating back to 1966; And access to SocINDEX, the most complete and prestigious sociological research database in the world, with full texts of 777 publications, over 820 monographs and 13,947 papers.

JSTOR: a growing digital library of academic journals, books and primary sources. It covers an eclectic range of disciplines (humanities, social sciences, history, political science, sociology, art and history of art, language and literature, among others). It offers access to more than 800 relevant journal titles for the Institute through its "Arts & Sciences" collections.
