The Library of the South American University Institute -IUSUR- has as mission to contribute to the achievement of the teaching, learning and research objectives of the Institution.
It is a unit of information with characteristics of a university library, and as such its main task is to collaborate in the processes of knowledge generation, providing access and diffusion of different types of information resources.
Given the specific characteristics of IUSUR, the library has an important virtual component, providing access to a wide range of digital resources and offering its main services to the public (information and consultation, reference, bibliographies, among others) remotely. This without neglecting the physical collection or the face-to-face services.

The collection of the Library seeks to provide the basic bibliography for students, teachers and researchers; As well as being - eventually - the depository of the knowledge generated in the academic development of the Institute.
Access to the online catalog, where you can search for books, magazines and other materials. In addition, from there you can make reservations and consult the history of personal loans.

Preparation of bibliographies:
Search, selection and presentation of documents on a particular topic has been requested by users.
Users can consult the physical collection in the reading room; They will also be able to access the virtual materials from the terminals of the same.
Users can take home the materials for a certain time.
Reservations and renewals:
You can reserve material through the online catalog and extend the term of the loans by phone or email.
